Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment in the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to support site protocols.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency situations, such as evacuations or medical incidents, in accordance with established procedures.
