As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct regular armed patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those on site. You will provide exceptional customer service, support access control, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff. Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Have customer service experience is preferred.
Have access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to maintain a secure environment within the financial institution.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and reassure staff and visitors.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal.
Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
