As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable presence. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address concerns and maintain security-related protocols.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site-specific guidelines.
Assist with access control measures, verifying identification, and managing visitor and employee entry as needed.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings while on duty, taking appropriate action in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
