As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the financial institution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to address security-related matters as they arise.
Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other criminal activity in and around the location.
