As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and training.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observe for any suspicious behavior or conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activity within the location.
Complete detailed reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary, following all Allied Universal protocols for armed security-related response.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and customers.
