As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this armed role, you will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out armed patrols of the assigned tech and telecom location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by assisting with inquiries and enforcing security-related procedures.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a professional presence.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or critical events.
Document all security-related activities, observations, and incidents in detailed reports according to site standards.
Participate in emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols.
Stay alert to potential threats or suspicious behavior and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
