As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and control entry and exit of individuals and/or vehicles as required, maintaining awareness of site operations.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as needed.
