About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our company values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including during emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter potential threats and support a secure atmosphere.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and uphold the standards of the financial institution environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, or other incidents that may arise during shifts.
Comply with all licensing requirements and maintain appropriate certifications for carrying a firearm while on duty, following all applicable laws and company policies.
