Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills and appropriate communication techniques.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergency situations.
Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding armed posts.
