As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will support a secure environment while offering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at financial institution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor for suspicious or unusual behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Manage access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required for entry to restricted areas.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement personnel as needed.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearms in accordance with company policy and applicable laws, adhering to all protocols.
