Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or irregularities observed during patrols.
Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with site access and provide guidance on security-related protocols.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
