As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical, behavioral, and security-related concerns.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
