Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout stations, platforms, facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces while maintaining a visible presence and following post orders, use of force guidelines, and applicable government location protocols.
• Support crowd management, assist with directional information, and communicate professionally with the public and/or client representatives during routine operations, service disruptions, and emergency situations.
