Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe persons entering and leaving the property in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership, property management, and/or emergency responders as directed.
