About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Perimeter Assessment in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible armed presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
