As a Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Management in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Access Control Officer, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment. You may drive as part of assigned duties while providing professional service and clear communication to members, guests, and staff. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to members, guests, vendors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and service providers entering the property.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, common areas, parking locations, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
