As a Security Officer Armed Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service. This is an armed driving post. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, screening authorized personnel and visitors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, access-control events, and shift operations.
