As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate communications for site personnel, visitors, and deliveries to help maintain security-related protocols at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all dispatch activities and occurrences as required by site-specific policies.
Communicate important information to on-site staff and management, providing updates on incidents and security-related matters.
Assist with the coordination of patrols and deployment of security-related personnel as needed, based on site requirements.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and access in accordance with site protocols.
Support Allied Universal in upholding client-specific security-related procedures and standards for an aerospace and defense environment.
