About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Response Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and uphold a secure environment. This is an armed and driving post. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while responding to incidents. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control systems to help regulate entry and exit at the location.
Receive and respond to calls for service, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.
Coordinate communication between on-site personnel and emergency services during incidents and/or critical situations.
Document and report security-related incidents and activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
Assist in maintaining a calm environment during emergencies by following established protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions.
Support Allied Universal in carrying out security-related procedures tailored to the needs of an aerospace and defense environment.
