About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Response Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and uphold a secure environment. This is an armed and driving post. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while responding to incidents. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage access control systems to help regulate entry and exit at the location.
  • Receive and respond to calls for service, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Coordinate communication between on-site personnel and emergency services during incidents and/or critical situations.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Assist in maintaining a calm environment during emergencies by following established protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions.
  • Support Allied Universal in carrying out security-related procedures tailored to the needs of an aerospace and defense environment.
