Requirements

• An armed guard card and unarmed guard is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of military, law enforcement, and/or corrections experience
• Must possess department of defense secret clearance
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support access control practices for sensitive operational areas.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and carry authorized defensive tools in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
