About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Branch Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with calm professionalism, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver a customer-first experience grounded in integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor and/or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, entrances, ATM and night depository areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Control access for employees, visitors and/or vendors by verifying identification, observing entry and exit activity, and helping to identify unusual behavior or conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when escalation is needed.
Complete security-related documentation such as incident reports, shift logs and patrol activity records, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel.
