As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and customer needs with clear communication and professionalism. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or License. Requirements

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Maintain an armed post in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal post orders, including proper handling, retention, and storage of issued equipment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, cash handling zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access points, alarms, and surveillance systems, complete required logs and incident reports, and communicate security-related concerns through the chain of command.
