As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and inspections, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. You will document activities, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card/license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, members, and visitors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements, including properly handling and securing assigned equipment while on duty.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Complete timely reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and participate in required briefings and post orders updates.
