About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Branch Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with calm professionalism, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver a customer-first experience grounded in integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor and/or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, entrances, ATM and night depository areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Control access for employees, visitors and/or vendors by verifying identification, observing entry and exit activity, and helping to identify unusual behavior or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when escalation is needed.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as incident reports, shift logs and patrol activity records, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel.
