About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Access Systems Operator in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess 1 year of law enforcement, corrections, military experience and/or degree in criminal justice
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and issue or collect access credentials in accordance with property procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site management and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
