As a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location as an armed Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and document the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location, verifying credentials, authorizations, and delivery information in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, restricted areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access-related events, incidents, and policy violations, and assist with badge checks, key control, and other security-related duties as assigned.
