Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including exterior areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle activity to help support authorized access, document unusual activity, and report concerns involving people, property, and/or equipment.
• Assist with logistics-related site operations by observing shipping and receiving areas, checking credentials when required, and helping to deter unauthorized entry or policy violations.
