As a Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol in Harrisburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support alarm panel monitoring. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a passenger rail transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and support the orderly movement of passengers and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with site personnel or public agencies.
