As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to support site operations while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of food production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and vehicles entering restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and access-control documentation while supporting a professional and orderly workplace environment.
