About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and alarm response activities. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout corporate office areas, technology workspaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
