In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other communication systems, and dispatch personnel to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, maintenance concerns, visitor activity, and/or unusual conditions with timely and accurate reports and status updates.
  • Coordinate access-related communications, verify information, and relay instructions to staff, vendors, and/or first responders as needed at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, while helping to identify and report security-related concerns that may arise in a technology-focused location.
