Security Officer - Airport Morning Dispatch

As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
- Security Experience: 1+ years
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or local public agencies as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including terminals, concourses, parking areas, and perimeter access points as assigned.
- Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, help to deter unauthorized entry, and complete required logs, reports, and other documentation.
- Support queue management and public-area observation, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report maintenance issues and/or suspicious activity through the appropriate channels.
