Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a premier resort location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding guest service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, corridors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and support hotel staff with security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Communicate with local management, guests, and/or emergency personnel when needed, providing clear updates and support during routine operations and incident response.
