As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol - Distribution Facility in Oceanside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailer staging areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
