As a Security Officer - Afternoon Highrise Building Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role blends customer service, communication, and professionalism while supporting daily operations. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, assisting with visitor processing, and reporting unauthorized or suspicious behavior to help support site policies.
• Support security-related operations at a financial services location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and communicating with site personnel regarding potential concerns and/or disruptions.
