As a Security Officer Active Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenities, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, assist with visitor directions, and support property rules and after-hours procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Complete routine reports, record security-related activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
