As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with agility and reliability. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document site access activity in accordance with post orders and location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related issues.
• Support receiving, delivery, and visitor management processes by helping to control site access, directing traffic flow, and communicating clearly with staff and guests.
