As a Security Officer Access Verification in Camden, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, documenting visitor activity, and communicating professionally with employees, contractors, and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete detailed reports and logs regarding visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
