About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Specialist in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring alarm panels, and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor registrations, and contractor credentials in accordance with site requirements.
Operate access control systems, maintain accurate visitor and access-related records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and parking areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
