As a Security Officer - Access Support in Palm City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify visitors and credentials, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other access-related activity in accordance with location procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Communicate with residents, guests, and on-site staff regarding community rules, parking issues, amenity access, and other property procedures while supporting a professional residential environment.
