Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control processes, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering clear communication and dependable support. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post instructions, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, parking lots, exterior perimeters, and other assigned spaces, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and/or delivery access processes in accordance with location procedures.
  • Support a professional presence at an automotive-related location by maintaining awareness of people, vehicles, and/or property conditions, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
