Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with property policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records, issue temporary access credentials when authorized, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help to identify security-related concerns and support a professional environment.
