About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Richmond Hill, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, screen people and/or materials, and support smooth site operations through professional communication and attentive presence. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Screen people, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required logs and communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including operational areas and perimeter points, as assigned by site leadership.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items by monitoring entry points, verifying access permissions, and following escalation procedures when needed.
