You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor access points, visitor management processes, and/or credential systems to help support authorized access and report irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry points, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions and reporting them through proper channels.
  • Support security-related operations in a technology-focused location by communicating clearly with staff and guests, assisting with badge-related issues, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
