About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Protocol Enforcement in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical processing location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals according to established site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
