Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily site operations. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and directing authorized individuals at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for security-related concerns, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual activity, incidents, and/or policy violations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations by following post orders, documenting key details, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior and exterior areas, including gates, access points, and perimeter locations, while observing for operational issues and/or security-related concerns common to an industrial environment.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle access records, support check-in and check-out procedures, and assist with screening processes for deliveries and authorized site access.
