As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Cross Junction, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and vehicle records in accordance with residential community procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting observations and incidents accurately.
