Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Point Driver in Sulphur, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location in an access control post, where you will greet visitors, verify credentials, manage entry logs, and support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. You will complete routine rounds nearby, respond to requests, and communicate clearly to help identify and help deter security-related issues. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical processing location. Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorizations, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs. Conduct screening of pedestrians, packages, and/or vehicles as required by post orders, and report prohibited items or suspicious activity through the established chain of communication. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with site response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter points, and report maintenance concerns, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
