Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to associates, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points at a retail distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access logs.
Screen inbound and outbound traffic in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized vehicles and personnel to appropriate areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, the business, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
