Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced retail distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security-related duties at a retail distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, loading and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify badges, credentials, and/or delivery documentation when required, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
